We were kindly invited to two Iftar events last week which is the evening meal that breaks the daily fast during Ramadan which occurs at sunset. These were held at Dunstall Community Centre. Delicious food was served and it was great to reflect and build connections with other people in the community.
Officers from the team were out with Trading standards officers from Wolverhampton City Council yesterday. Two shops were visited and illegal items were found with in both shops.
A number of items were seized including, illegal cigarettes, vapes and cosmetics.
One of the stores was closed down by Training Standards, investigations will be carried out into both premises.
We held a police surgery at Bantock House Cafe on 18th March. We spoke to residents to offer advice and answer any questions they had. We hold these once a month so please look out for the dates of our next surgeries.
Some of our PCSO's attended a St Patricks Day coffee morning at McCalla House. All of the residents were happy to chat about any issues with the officers over a piece of cake!
